BEST HOUSTON was chartered on Saturday, Saturday, June 13, 2009. This marked the beginning of a major organizational milestone. Thoma Brewer was elected the 1st Chapter President.

Our local organization is committed to providing professional and social networking events, recruitment and retention support to current and prospective students, and serve as a liasion between the University of Texas and the Houston Community.

The Houston Chapter invites you to join our organization for an opportunity to stay connected to the University and current Black students, raise money for scholarships, network and socialize with fellow Black alumni living in the Houston area.
